My husband and I were married at the Tidewater Inn on Saturday, October 8, 2011. We could not be happier with our choice in a wedding ceremony and reception venue! The Inn is gorgeous and offers many options for a ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was held in the beautiful courtyard and our reception in the Gold Ballroom. Our coordinator, Melanie, was fantastic!! She was so organized and flexible! We have received endless compliments on the food and everyone's overall experience. Highly Recommend!

We cannot say enough how pleased we are with how our wedding turned out at Tidewater Inn. We were so stressed that things wouldn't go as planned, especially with some ugly weather looming, but everything went off without a hitch (no pun intended)!
In all, we received so many compliments from our guests about this venue. From the humorous bartender and helpful wait staff, to the decadent cuisine and the elegant yet quaint hotel. The Tidewater really made our wedding day perfect, and we highly recommend to anyone planning to get married on the Eastern Shore!

The Tidewater Inn is historic, beautifully decorated, intimate and warm. We planned to have our ceremony in the back courtyard, which is well landscaped with plants, flowers and a little fountain. There is also an outdoor terrace in front with a brick fire place for chilly evenings. Our cocktail hour and reception were held at the Tidewater as well, so the flow of the evening went perfectly. There is even a spiral staircase where we captured some GORGEOUS photos. Elegant but very comfortable, a great balance.

Recently my wife and I traveled to Easton, Maryland for our son's wedding. We stayed at the Tidewater Inn for four days and four nights. The Tidewater is an historic and very charming place to stay. Centrally located in Easton, it is everything you would want in a place as historic and beautiful as Easton, Maryland. The hotel staff is attentive but not intrusive; the food was beyond excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms were clean, cozy and the bed was great - best sleep I have ever had in a hotel bed. I will be making the Tidewater my home away from home whenever I travel to Easton.

My husband and I were extremely pleased by the quality of the wedding reception at the Tidewater Inn. EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY! Need I say more? The staff was outstanding. Our wedding coordinator was beyond what we had expected. Our guests, many from the Easton area, have gone back for dinner after having had fabulous food at our reception. If I did not know where to go for a source, we were given the appropriate information. We were never disappointed. If I had to do my reception all over again, the Tidewater Inn is hands down the only place I would consider

The wait staff was outstanding. They accommodated the special requests for dietary needs and they served with a smiling and pleasant nature. They were wonderful and deserve a special thank you. Those who were at the front desk were also great. Thanks again for all your efforts. I received many compliments about the conference and that would not have happened without the help of Lauren.

My wife and I just enjoyed a wonderful four night stay at the Tidewater Inn during the Waterfowl Festival. Felt compelled to write and compliment you on what you have and are accomplishing with my favorite old Inn. I thought that last year you had accomplished a new level of excellence, I am now impressed with how you continue to excel and improve the Inn. The physical plant is as fine as I have ever seen it-clean, bright and well cared for. The new individual room temperature control is a major improvement. Everywhere the obvious touch of a caring hand is evident. The sign in the elevator reminding guests to be considerate of others during the night hours is both unique and welcome and obviously reflects a unique set of values.

On behalf of Eventful Giving, I would like to sincerely thank the Tidewater Inn for being as generous and professional as they were during our fundraiser event last night. The evening was a huge success, and we were able to raise significant sums of money for local Talbot County food banks. It was truly a great evening.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you and the Tremont Grand staff for your dedication and assistance in hosting this year's Preservation & Revitalization Conference. With over 350 attendees, this year's conference was a resounding success. In addition to being historic and centurally located, the Tidewater Inn was a wonderful facility for a conference of this size. We received many glowing comments about the building, the food and the exceptional service.

On Tuesday, December 6th, Shore Health held their Physicians' Holiday Celebration at The Tidewater Inn. It was years ago that we had our last holiday celebration at your facility due to the fact of food, service and accommodations. Personally, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed our event. Lauren Catterton is the reason I selected The Tidewater Inn. Lauren pulled the Arthur B. Cecil, Jr., MD Award Dinner off. The staff was awesome at this event. Lauren is so accommodating, delightful, enthusiastic and I just a love to work with. Trust me, I have been doing this job for ten years and know exactly what our physicians like and don't like. For the past three years we have used Scossa's and they have done an outstanding job also, but after the Arthur B. Cecil, Jr., MD dinner I had to give you all one more chance. From this event now hundreds of individuals know how wonderful your food and customer service is.
The big difference between the two businesses is The Tidewater Inn has been a historic mark in Easton for a long time. I couldn't say it any better then Dr. and Mrs. Bradley Baker (retired OB/GYN) stated "The Tidewater Inn is back." Thank you thank you thank you!
It is my hope to do many more activities with you. I'm hoping you can do something very special for Lauren to recognize the wonderful host she is. Oh - I can't discount the employees - someone has trained them extremely well. You have one older bartender who is unbelievable, one of the ladies that worked the back bar that was awesome and one gray-haired employee that could not do enough for me. I'm sorry I do not know their names, but they need to be recognized also.Thank you to everyone who has had a hand in bringing back The Tidewater Inn.
