- Chesapeake Lighthouse Tours -- A unique look at Chesapeake Lighthouse Heritage. Half- and full-day tours leaving from the Bay Hundred Restaurant at Knapps Narrows Marina, Tilghman Island. USCG-Certified. Available April through October. Captain Mike Richards has over 35 years experience on the Chesapeake Bay.
- Plein Air Competition and Arts Fair - July 15th - July 22nd in beautiful downtown Easton, MD
- Waterfowl Festival - November 9, 10 & 11th in downtown Easton, MD. "Waterfowl Festival, Inc. is dedicated to wildlife conservation, the promotion of wildlife art, and the celebration of life on Maryland''s Eastern Shore." In its 41 years, the Festival has become a leader in the conservation of waterfowl and wildlife habitat. More than $5 million has been raised and donated to projects throughout the Atlantic Flyway, and in particular the Chesapeake Bay.
- Patriot Boat Cruises - First on your itinerary must be a cruise aboard the climate-controlled PATRIOT, a St. Michaels Tradition Since 1969! We help you become familiar with the area as we cruise upon the beautiful Miles River, part of the Chesapeake Bay Estuary which is the largest in the Western Hemisphere. Learn about our local beginnings, view historic homes and wildlife, and watch local watermen harvest clams, oysters and the famous Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab during their respective seasons. The Patriot is a 2 level 149 passenger cruise boat with the main deck fully heated and air conditioned and the top deck partially covered by a canopy and partially open to the stars for 4th of July fireworks or sunset cruises.
- Dockside Express Cruises - Your hosts, Kelley and Jerry Cox, each hold a 50-ton Captain’s license and have been involved in Chesapeake Bay research for a combined total of 55 years. We started Dockside Express in 1993, as a small water taxi company out of Tilghman Island, Maryland. We offered pizza, ice and newspaper delivery to the boats in nearby anchorage, as well as water taxi transportation to local restaurants and marinas.
- Let It Ride Charters -- Enjoy the scenic Miles River, picnic on the Wye River or journey to Annapolis by boat. Trips tailored to your needs. Sport fishing available and groups are welcome.
- Pickering Creek Audubon Center -- A sanctuary of the Chesapeake Audubon Society, Pickering Creek is a private non-profit conservation center with over 400 acres of protected land. Features hardwood forests, non-tidal wetlands, wildlife plantings and a nature preserve. Open year-round, Pickering Creek provides a variety of educational opportunities such as lectures, field trips, canoe rentals and displays.
- Rail to Trails -- The Town of Easton Rails-to-Trails is a federal, state and local project designed to utilize out-of-service rail lines for outdoor recreational purposes. The Easton Rails to Trails project converts valuable railroad right-of-ways into public trails for running, walking, bicycling, wildlife conservation and observation. The Town of Easton Comprehensive Plan calls for the Rails to Trails system in Easton to connect destinations and eventually serve as an essential link for a trail network in the Mid-Shore area.
- Skipjack H. M. Krentz -Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks were recently named among America's most endangered historic places. Take this unique opportunity to enjoy sailing the Chesapeake waters aboard the historic Skipjack H.M. Krentz. Captain Ed Farley will share the history of the Bay and teach you how to dredge for oysters. Bring a picnic basket or catch the sunset. Groups or individuals sailing daily. U.S.C.G.-Licensed Captain, certified for 32 passengers.
- Talbot River Tours -- Tour the beautiful Tred Avon River between Easton and Oxford. The River Runner is a U.S.C.G.-inspected vessel carrying up to 20 passengers. It has restroom facilities, weather protection and easy front-loading capability. Forty-five-minute trip disembarks at either Easton or Oxford. You may re-board on a later trip if desired.
